Who says Calypso and Roadmarch ain't happenin' ?!

The winning Roadmarch Bulljam by Long Roy wasn't the only one to sweep the overly excited audience off of their feet. Rei Nier, the original 'Nederlander", drew shouts and applause from more than his students from Colegio Arubano when he sang his song, Huppelen.

Claudius kept his Calypso crown. He sang Basta! (Enough!). Mighty Hippie, one of the favorites for the Calypso crown,  came in second with his song Big Mistake.

Many claim that its the first time that the Calypso and Roadmarch Contest was practically sold out. Attendance was calculated at about 10,000 party goers.

Could it be the magic produced by the union between SAC (Carnaval
Organizing Committee) and ASOMA (Musicians Association of Aruba)?
Great job!
